Classes

You can learn just about anything yarn related at Crazy for Ewe.  We offer beginning and intermediate knitting and crochet as well as special technique classes on more specific topics such as blocking, finishing, entrelac, intarsia, stranded knitting, and more. We also offer some interesting and different programs on yarn, patterns, creativity.

Beginning Knitting

Whether you've never picked up needles and yarn or you know how to knit but it's been a long time, this is where you begin your knitting journey.  Crazy for Ewe's Beginning Knitting series will take you from "I've never knit before" to "Look at this fabulous vest I made!"  We have regular Beginning Knitting sessions at a variety of price points depending on the day and time and the length of the class. We keep our classes small to ensure that each student gets enough individual attention and is free to learn at his or her own rate. Knitting Safari

This 3-week class is the perfect class for you and your project. One of our friendly and experienced instructor is at your disposal to help you through the project of your choosing, going over new skills and tackling the tricky bits. You'll learn the techniques for your own project, but you'll also have the benefit of learning from the projects of all the other students in the class. Each question is a teachable moment for the entire group.

Just like with an animal safari, you're not sure exactly what you'll see, but we're pretty sure you'll learn something cool, we know you'll make new friends, and we guarantee you'll have fun. Check the calendar to see when the next safari takes off!

The fun stuff and the fine print

Our in-store classes are small and personal.  We keep them that way on purpose.  Our instructors love sharing what they know, and they're really good at it.  We understand that you're busy and that it's hard to carve time out of your schedule, so we want to make sure that your investment of time and money exceeds your expectations in every way.  They're great classes, and they fill up fast, so if you see a class you want to take, call us and register right away.  Please remember that you do have to sign up in advance.  I've had people who were not registered for a class show up at a class venue at the appointed time only to find that the class is full, or that it was cancelled for insufficient registration.  So, register right away for classes you want to take.  We're happy to handle your registration over the phone or in person.

The fine print

Beginning Knitting, Beginning Crochet, and Knit One Sip Two

We do have maximum and minimum registration requirements.  If we don't have enough students registered, we may cancel the class.  If we cancel the class, you'll get your full registration back.  If you need to cancel, please give us at least 24 hours notice so we can reschedule you in the next available beginning class.  We cannot offer refunds or reschedules for cancellations less than 24 hours before the start of class.  Check the class description for the materials list.  Please plan to work with Crazy for Ewe yarns.  We're happy to wind yarn in advance so you're ready when class starts.

Off-site and special classes
